This Privacy Policy explains how RxNow handles information when you visit rxnow.com, use the prescription price checker displayed on the site, or contact us. RxNow is a prescription savings service, not a health care provider, pharmacy, insurer, or emergency service.
Information you provide to RxNow
You do not need to create an RxNow account to browse the site or obtain the free RxNow card. If you email info@rxnow.com, RxNow receives the information you choose to include, such as your name, email address, message, and details needed to respond.
Please do not send medical records, Social Security numbers, payment-card information, insurance identifiers, Rx/member identifiers, or other sensitive medical, financial, or identity information through ordinary email.
Representative applications
If you apply to become an RxNow representative, the application asks for your name, email address, phone number, city, state, ZIP code, background, availability, intended outreach approach, reason for applying, optional referral information, and acknowledgments. This information is provided for review of your application and communication about the representative opportunity. Applying to become a representative is separate from obtaining or using the free prescription savings card.
Prescription price searches
When you use the prescription price search, RxNow’s website receives the medication information you enter or select and the search details you provide. These may include the medication name, strength, form or identifying code, quantity, days supply, ZIP code or location coordinates, and search radius. You do not need to create an RxNow account to use this feature.
RxNow’s website requests medication information and pharmacy prices from connected service providers, including RxSense and RxEDO. Medication lookups use search text and medication identifiers. Price requests use the selected medication identifier, quantity, location, and other supported search details. The website combines available results and provides the card associated with each displayed quote.
The website uses temporary medication-lookup and price-result caches to support repeated searches. It also uses request counters based on IP-address information and connection diagnostics to limit misuse and troubleshoot the service. These functions do not require a visitor account.
Information collected automatically
When you visit this website, the hosting, security, and website systems may automatically collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, date and time of access, pages requested, referring page, and error or security events. Your browser temporarily keeps a timestamp and broad categories within the current tab to estimate visits; no visitor identifier is sent. We respect Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals. Daily totals are retained for up to 14 months. Hosting and security logs are handled separately.
